In the light of recent events, as Google Fiber announced its arrival to Charlotte,  TWC declared that clients in the  area will have the chance to taste high Internet speeds, up to six times faster, with zero costs and this will be happening in the near future.

TWC speed improvements

  • Standard 15 Mbps package will boost to 50 Mbps
  • Extreme package will boost to 200 MBps and Ultimate to 300 Mbps

TWC declared: “The Internet transformation will begin this summer and will include speed increases on Time Warner Cable residential Internet plans at no additional cost, with customers experiencing increases up to six times faster, depending on their current level of Internet service.”

These actions proove that TWC can take quick decisions regarding its infrastructure, boosting Internet speeds very fast, when facing competition and remaining passive when it doesn’t.
